Do you care about your contractors ?

As a supplier you want to sell as much paint as possible. What’s equally a
Important is that you get paid for that paint. One of several ways you can
assure success is to insure the success of your Contractors. You have an
obligation to yourself, your company, and your Contractors to educate your
contractors as to new products, applications Procedures and business procedures,
and one of the best ways to achieve this is to Introduce them to the Painting
and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). With yours and PDCA’s help,
your contractor can work towards becoming A better educated professional.
As a better educated professional your Contractor makes more profits and
has fewer problems which translates Into more sales with fewer problems for
you. So please invite your contractors to visit and urge them to join the PDCA.

Are you a professional ?

Pro-fes-sion-al is defined in the Webster Dictionary as one engaged in, or worthy
of the High standards of, a profession. Do you consider yourself a professional?
If so, do you conduct your business as a Professional?
Do you receive your trade’s professional publications? Do you associate With
other professionals in your trade? Do you belong to your trade’s professional Association?
An association is a society formed for transacting or carrying on some business
or Pursuit for mutual advantage. Belonging to a professional association has
many advantages, such as: Continuing education Giving strength to issues that concern the profession Promoting networking Developing friendships And much,
much more A doctor belongs to the American Medical Association (AMA). An
attorney has the Florida Bar Association (FBA).
General contractors have the Associated General Contractors (AGC) An architect
has the American Institute of Architects(AIA). Are you any less of a professional
than any of these? Painting contractors have a professional association, the
Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), a national organization. DECO, a monthly trade Publication by PDCA, is available to the painting and wallcovering professional. Become an active painting professional. Learn more
